Nike Air Force 1 Shadow

This Air Force 1 Shadow features a classic white base that produces a clean, elegant appearance. The raised midsole is entirely coated in this neutral tone, as is the outsole, with its deep circular tread patterns and its tightly packed lugs offering supreme grip all around. Many aspects of this design have been doubled up, creating a series of layers at different points. The first of these appears on the lateral heel, where an additional strip of white rubber bridges the midsole and upper. It has been embossed with Air lettering in Pure Platinum, which sits just above another set of white text on the midsole.

On the upper, smooth white leather decorates most of the exterior, from the rear overlay through the midfoot to the additional mudguard that wraps around the forefoot. This last layer lies on top of a shiny Metallic Silver overlay that is more visible on the medial side than the lateral one, where it can just be seen around the edge of the white toe box. The perforations in this section have been arranged in a grid formation that is mirrored from the left foot to the right. Further up the shoe, two eyestays present more stacking effects, with a layer of Pure Platinum below one in white. The primary eyestay is debossed with Pure Platinum AF1 lettering in its toe end, and a luminous silver lace dubrae with more AF1 text rests just above it.

The flanks bring together the two grey tones seen on the rest of the model, with a single Metallic Silver swoosh on the medial side, and a Pure Platinum one laid out underneath another in Metallic Silver on the lateral side. The heel panel also comes in this polished silver hue and is embroidered with white Nike text. The layered theme continues here as a second heel panel in Pure Platinum emerges from behind the primary one. Meanwhile, duos of branding adorn the insole and the tongue. The white surface of the former is printed with Nike Air text in black that is mirrored by another set in light grey. Then, to complete the look, a white tongue patch with Pure Platinum branding has been sewn over another that has black text on a white background.
