Nike Dunk Low

The graceful design of this Nike Dunk Low is made up of two light tones, making it a classic example of the sneaker’s heritage. Underfoot, the sole unit features both hues as it employs white through the midsole and Rose Whisper along the durable rubber outsole. This pleasant shade of pink covers the round grip formations which sit just behind a strip of star-shaped nodes on the tip of the forefoot and the chunkier structures in the heel. These offer the perfect steady base for the upper to rest upon.

Meanwhile, the top part of the sneaker consists of a series of pristine leather panels in the same two colours as those seen on the sole. White acts as the background, filling out the midfoot and toe box, as well as a thin section around the low-cut collar. Three parallel lines of stitching appear in this part between the Rose Whisper rear overlay, which itself curves up towards the collar at the front, and the heel panel. This last feature has been embroidered with white Nike text in block capital letters, and the shoe’s swooshes emerge from beneath it. These logos come in a pink hue to match the overall aesthetic and reach across the rear overlay before finishing atop the midfoot.

The rear panel folds over the top of the Rose Whisper eyestay, which itself moves down along either side of the tongue to overlap with the forefoot mudguard. This section is Rose Whisper, as are the laces. At the toe end of these, fanned lines of perforations create an eye-catching pattern over the forefoot that has the added bonus of aerating the shoe. At the other end, the white tongue displays a white label with Rose Whisper Nike branding. A soft mesh coats the inside of the sneaker, once again in muted pink tones, and a set of bright white Nike text lies beside a swoosh on the insole to round out this colourway with elegance.
