This Jordan 1 High ‘Lost and Found’ has been covered with various aged features to pay homage to times gone by when shoes would get lost in stock rooms and discovered again years later. It also comes in a combination of red, white and black tones, distinguishing it as an iconic Chicago colourway. Its foundation is a Varsity Red outsole with cloudy white effects that begin the worn look. Despite having this appearance, it retains its powerful grip through the use of concentric ringed indentations in the forefoot and thick lugs in the heel. Above it, the foam-filled midsole is decorated in an off-white tone known as Muslin, which adds further to the retro feel while also offering soft comfort underfoot.

The base layer of the upper continues the theme via its cracked leather exterior, which is coated in a Sail tone – another shade of off-white. While this surface is visible on the perforated toe box and through the midfoot panels, the rest is overlaid with bright Varsity Red panels. These make up the forefoot mudguard and the pair of overlays behind it, as well as the eyestay, the heel counter and the collar wrap. White laces criss-cross over the Muslin tongue, which has a Varsity Red label with white Nike branding sewn into its peak.

The shoe’s inner comprises black padded lining around a plain white insole, before more classic features decorate the outer. One of these is the black Jordan Wings logo pressed into the lateral collar, and another is the black leather swooshes that emerge from a piece of Varsity Red leather in the centre of the heel to move down the flanks. The finishing touch is the unconventional high-top collar, which has a faux oxidised effect upon its black leather surface, thus rounding out the sneaker’s compelling vintage look.
